Seven months later, on the reverse date, 12/05/06, my mother was taken by the same disease. She was a young woman who took the best care of herself. They both set the bar high for the entire family as examples of strong, successful leaders. It was my mother's dying wish for me to have my voice heard. It was she that influenced me to start private voice lessons at the age of seven. This album, I have put together of work that made her proud of me. "Do you hear that?" she would say as she played my music for everyone, promoting me even from her hospital bed. I hope as people buy and hear this record, they will be aware of you and what you did to get me to this place. I love and miss you, Michele Russo Jillson IT IS TIME for me to do something to give back and make a change for the future. Proceeds from this album, "SONGS SHE LOVED", will go to cancer research. I hope that someday people like my young mother can be saved from this horrible disease that has reached epidemic proportions. |
