Born and raised in Washington, DC, percussionist/banjoist/dancer/storyteller Sule Greg Wilson has performed African, Latin, U.S. and Caribbean folklore since Junior High School, working with Oya, the International Afrikan American Ballet, Olatunji and more. He took up the 5-string banjo in the early '80s. He has since worked with Tony Trischka, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Sankofa Strings, Mike Seeger and Rich DelGrosso.
