SongVault Artist Profile

I've been playing piano for over 25 years, starting with Scott Joplin Ragtime tunes. From there I got into songwriting, and was heavily influenced by Billy Joel and Elton John (naturally), but also bands like Pink Floyd, Doobie Brothers, and Counting Crows to name a few. I also have a soft spot for making soundtrack music (primarily influenced by John Williams), so keep an eye out for my debute soundtrack album (coming soon) My primary focus for all my writing is content (words). Songs need to hold meaning for me, so that's the way I tend to write. Every song I have written has a real story behind it. If you like piano-based singer/songwriter style music, I think you'll be pleased with what you hear.
