"Spirit Number 5" is a band that began to form at open jam nights in the kibbutz's of northern Israel. Three diverse and different mucisians Mark Blacknell, Itay Rizansky and Noam Lavi all began to get a sense that something special was happening when they played together in the smokey, kibbutznik joints along the Lebanon border. A combination of old-time American country and blues influences, peppered with grunge and justa pinch of fresh Israeli flavor created a unique sound. Their first self-titled release is now complete.
