In 2006, Fight the Quiet emerged on the scene with a full-length record titled Lessons in Vanity. The record was put in rotation on more than 300 radio stations, featured on MTV’s The Real World and Inferno 3, and SBK ‘07 for Xbox 360. The band has played more than 200 touring dates including SXSW 2006 and 2007, Hyperfest 2006 and 2007, Summerfest 2006 with Jacks Mannequin, Santa Fe Muzik Fest 2007 (headliner), Aspen Avenue Music Festival 2007 and 2008 (headliner), and the Tempe Music Festival 2008.
In December 2007, Fight the Quiet hit the studio again with producer Marsh Shamburger to record The Porcelain EP. The first single "Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor" has been featured on Clear Channel's program NEW!. The Porcelain EP will be released to radio in August 2008. Fight the Quiet delivers a catchy verse and unforgettable chorus with every song. “We were committed to creating something accessible to all listeners and I believe we have held true to that commitment,” says Nathan James. Caution: The Porcelain EP contains elements liable to make Fight the Quiet your new favorite band. |
