How it all happened...
The initial idea of the band was born out of necessity, Roger had been writing songs for 23 years but having formed two previous bands in the early 90's nothing came to fruition, finally in 1997 he took a break from song writing altogether. In 2008 Roger was slowly rediscovering his passion for writing and recording, this resulted in "Innocence" being written at the end of that year. By August 2010 it was self-released through his own label but with little success. A Christmas song that had been written by Roger in 1993 was revamped and released in October of 2010 in time for Christmas but he soon realised that the only way to push this forward was to put a band together and perform live. Various ads for musicians were placed on the JoinMyBand website and after much debate as to who should be a part of this new project a meeting was finally arranged…

On Saturday 29th January 2011 we all got together for the very first time in a very small practice room somewhere in Birmingham.

Roger Lee on guitar & vocals, Sean Page on guitar, Kevin Turner on Bass with Rob Muddyman on drums. The next practice saw the arrival of our second guitarist Paul Miller and the departing of our drummer who although seemed promising just failed to turn up for practice sessions. The following week we were joined by our stand-in drummer Ryan Cody. Ryan told us mid-way through our tea and coffee break that he'd love to join up with us full time, this completed our line-up. We struggled to find a suitable name for the band despite many suggestions being made by Roger and Paul. Kevin had already started to promote the band for airplay with Radio WM and WCR FM as "The Roger Lee Band". After still debating a name it was decided to stick with the name we had adopted. Sean unfortunately decided to leave the band early on due to family commitments and we remained as a four piece band.

We are currently in the process of recording for the debut album which we are looking to release for the summer of 2011, this will be supported by various local gigs around Birmingham and the Midlands.
