JaQuay's Bio

On July 15th, a diamond was born in Chester, PA. The Diamond would be named JaQuay. She was a fast learner and was real meticulous. Everything she has set out to do so far in life, have to be perfect. JaQuay loved to train with her father and often stated she would be the next Flo Jo.
At the age of 9 years old, while attending Toby Farms Elementary School, her parents received a call from the Principle. She went on to say that the Music Teacher and I agreed that JaQuay has a special gift to sing. Would it be okay if JaQuay could perform for Dr. John Alston? They gave a brief description of his background then advised us that he is the Director of the Chester Children Choir and The founder of The School of Performing Arts in Chester, PA. JaQuay’s parents agreed to let her show case her talents. Later that day, they received a call from Dr. Alston asking if she could join the Choir. He explained that she would learn not only how to control her voice but to read and write music. Her parents agreed and she began her journey into music. As time went on, JaQuay and a few others asked Dr. Alston if he would teach them how to play the piano? He said sure, gave them all key boards and began instructing them on how to read notes and play.
In 2009, JaQuay wrote and recording her first single (First Crush). We spoke with Kool n The Gang’s Adil Bayyan, Pinks old manger Big Jam, local DJ’s and Al Edmonson CEO of Edmonson Communications Inc./Gospel Record Label/Radio Host saying they loved the song and they are looking forward to hearing more. She has opened up for Mario and Sean Paul.
JaQuay states, she wants to be a famous world renowned recording artist. She wants to share her music with everyone and inspire many people as she can.
