High Windows is an exciting new project which draws on years of collective musical experience: a North-East London three-piece which reunites the members of duo Pretty Bricks; singer-songwriter Russell Joslin and drummer Jacob Wheeler, with bass player Rolfin Nyhus completing the line-up. The band’s sound is at once both melodious and discordant, fusing distorted finger-picked guitar with taut bass-lines and insistent percussion, all providing a compellingly frenetic musical backdrop for the literate and enigmatic lyrics. High Windows launched their debut EP with a packed out show at The Waiting Room in Londons East End on July 22nd 2012 and are now planning a follow up double A-side single.
